I am looking for a good SEO company for link popularity for a Small Business.?

I have been sent a proposal by a company called National Positions. Their site is http://www.nationalpositions.com/index.html. Anyone have any feed back on this company or ideas on a better one? My site is an adult site http://store.lotionspotionsvibes.com.

First of all, nationalpositions.com relies heavily on the use of illegal SEO strategies based on "spamdexing" or use of duplicate entries in relevant SEO metatags to promote or elevate their website's and client's website PR [Page Rank on Google]. Take note that the use of the terms "search engine, Los Angeles" is rampant. If you choose to employ their services, you would be subjecting your website to being reported as a "spamdexed" website to Google via spamreport @goole.com [by your competitors] and your website/domain name may, in fact, be stricken from their database. It's obvious that nationalpositions.com does not have competent SEO staffers.

3. Unfortunately, you have chosen a business that is tremendously crowded online. It will be very hard to rank for any related terms that will send you actual visitors. I recommend that you not pay for SEO for that site. Instead, pay for promoting your site through blogs instead.

   Many blog owners are open to paid advertising on their blogs and most charge very affordable rates for the ads offered. Please feel free to call me for additional clarification on this.    I have been doing SEO for over 10 years and selling you SEO services for what appears to be a Yahoo store is unethical, in my opinion. This company should know better and seems to be more interested in taking your money than actually helping with your business.

   I may be wrong about the company you have contacted, but Yahoo stores are very hard to rank and are generally not the best choice for online businesses that hope to receive natural search traffic to a business website. They should have told you that up front, before they provided you a quote.
