Redirects - do they help with link popularity?
I was researching my competitor's back links and a lot of theirs come from comparison shopping sites or coupon sites that use redirects. Do such links count toward link popularity? I thought redirects are discounted against link popularity? Maybe as long as the dynamic URL doesn't have too many ? it can be helpful then that link can be helpful for links and traffic?

- I think they're annoying as hell. I want to go to the place I clicked on - not somwhere else! Usually when that happens I close all the windows and start over.
