What free service is good to help increase linking popularity and drive traffic to website?
Is there something out there that can do this or more? I want to offer a free service that will help people to improve traffic to their site through linking or anything along these lines. But what are the things missing from other sites.... any suggestions? Thank you for all of your suggestions, but I was asking what type of website that I can start that would be helpful and beneficial to everyone.

Depending on what market you are targeting, first, do some keyword research, then develop a list of around 25-30 keyword phrases.
Use one keyword phrase in the article title and write 5 articles per keyword phrase. Make sure that your keyword phrase is somewhere in the first paragraph too, very important!!
When you are done, you will have over 100 articles, pulling free traffic every day to your website. I know it works. We are getting 25-30 leads per day from almost 800 articles that we have written over the last few months! Our goal right now is to have 10 thousand articles bringing massive amounts of targeted traffic daily.
I truly believe that when that goal is achieved, many in my team will quit their day jobs.

The fact is that best of the traffic comes from search engines directly by searching your blog related terms, so the most important part of your advertisement must be getting listed in search engines. But remember only major search engines, don't bother about submitting in 350,000 search engines as 99% searches are made in top 3 search engines only and 60% in Google only.
